Wix Velo Developer (Quick Fix for Data Submission Issue)

We are seeking an experienced Wix Velo Developer with a strong background in JavaScript, Wix Databases, and custom form handling. The primary goal is to identify and fix a critical data submission issue on our Wix website. The current issue involves a form where data from sliders is not being properly recorded in the Wix database. This is a high-priority, time-sensitive task—ideal for someone who enjoys debugging and resolving technical glitches quickly and effectively. Key Responsibilities: -Analyze the existing Wix Velo code to identify why slider data isn’t submitting correctly. -Debug JavaScript functions, including form validation and database insertion logic. -Verify and adjust Wix database permissions, field configurations, and data structure. -Ensure smooth data capture from 5 slider components and proper storage in the PredictionAnswers collection. -Conduct testing to confirm that all submissions are successful. Provide documentation of the issue and the applied fix for future reference. Requirements: -Proven experience with Wix Velo (Corvid) development. -Strong proficiency in JavaScript and DOM manipulation. -Experience with Wix Data Collections, permissions, and custom form setups. -Ability to debug using browser console logs and Wix’s developer tools. -Familiarity with Wix Events, dynamic pages, and front-end/backend communication. -Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Nice-to-Have: -Experience with custom HTML/CSS integration within Wix. -Understanding of database design best practices. -Prior work with sports-related web applications (not required). -Project Timeline: -Immediate Start required. -Project completion expected very quickly
